These Terms of Use are also the End User License Agreement (EULA) for the Brolic app for iPhone and iPad ("Brolic", "the app", "we", "us"). By downloading or using Brolic you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using Brolic you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and the Community Guidelines in Section 5.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Brolic. If you are under 18, you need permission from a parent or guardian.
3. Fitness disclaimer
NOT MEDICAL ADVICE: Brolic is a workout log and leaderboard. It is not medical advice or a substitute for a professional. Lifting weights carries a risk of injury. Consult a physician before starting an exercise program, and never attempt a lift to beat a leaderboard that you cannot perform safely.
4. License
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Brolic on Apple devices you own or control, as allowed by the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer or redistribute the app.
5. Your content and community guidelines
Brolic lets you publish a username, display name, bio, workout titles, the lifts you log, and comments on lifts ("User Content"). You are responsible for your User Content. You must accept these Terms in the app before you can see or post User Content.
ZERO TOLERANCE: There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. Accounts that break these rules will have content removed and may be suspended or permanently terminated.
You must not:
- Use a username, name, bio, workout title or comment that harasses, threatens or demeans anyone, or contains hate speech, sexual content or slurs
- Log false, fabricated or exaggerated lifts, or try to manipulate the leaderboards or votes
- Create multiple accounts to vote on your own lifts or someone else's
- Impersonate another person or organization
- Post spam, scams or anything illegal
By publishing User Content you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to host and display it in the app to operate the service. You keep ownership of it.
6. Votes, blocking and moderation
- Votes: other lifters can upvote or downvote any lift. A lift with at least five downvotes and at least twice as many downvotes as upvotes is removed from the leaderboards automatically.
- Block: you can block any user from their profile, a lift or a comment. Their lifts and comments are hidden from you immediately, and we are notified. Manage blocked people in Settings.
- Report: every lift, comment and profile has a Report option in the app. You can also email support@brolic.io. We review reports and act on objectionable content and abusive users within 24 hours, removing content and terminating accounts that break these Terms.
We may remove any content or suspend any account at any time for a breach of these Terms.
7. Price
Brolic is free. There are no in-app purchases, subscriptions or ads. If that ever changes, we will update these Terms and show any required information before you are charged.
8. Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time in the app: You → gear (Settings) → Delete account. This removes your account and your workouts, comments, leaderboard entries, goals and routines. You can also ask us to delete it by emailing support@brolic.io.
9. Termination
We may suspend or end your access to Brolic, with or without notice, if you break these Terms or to protect other users.
10. Limitation of liability
Brolic is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent the law allows, we are not liable for injuries, inaccurate data, User Content or disputes between users.
11. Apple
These Terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, has no obligation to provide support for it, and is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms with the right to enforce them against you.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms. When we do, the date at the top of this page changes.
